DID YOU KNOW . . .

• Nicolas Martinez (Assistant Production Manager) has won the Texas Tree Climbing Championship three times…once as a grandfather.

• Keith Moody (Lead Mechanic) and his wife have gained  custody of two young children unexpectedly in September 2004.

• Bill Seaman (Certified Arborist) has a son that served in Kuwait and a daughter-in-law that served in Iraq, both as Marines, during Operation Enduring Freedom.  His son Reed went first, 12 weeks after their first child was born, and his wife Jennifer left 8 weeks after Reed’s return. Both parents and child are now safely home in the United States of America beginning their lives together as a family for the first time.

• Bryan White (Certified Arborist) and his wife delivered their third son, Joseph Clark on December 17, 2004.

• Russell Peters (Certified Arborist) is the current President of the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (second term, first 1996).

• Steve Houser (Owner & President of ASI) donates more hours of his own time per week promoting the Benefits of Trees and other tree topics, than most Americans work in a week.  Note: This was removed by request of the Owner but the employees chose to print it anyway!

• Onecimo Carlos (Production Manager) joined the company in 1984 and has trained six past Texas Tree  Climbing Champions (with a total of 13 titles).  If you see him, congratulate him on reaching 20 years of service!

• Salvador Martinez  (Production Crew Foreman) joined the company in 1985, and earned his US citizenship in 2000. He, his wife Esmerelda, and their children purchased their first home in August of 2004.

• Kevin Bassett (Co-founder of ASI) shoots rounds of golf in the 70’s most every weekend….at 50 years old.

• Chris Brewer (Our newest Certified Arborist) came to us from Florida with 27 years experience only two weeks before the first of four hurricanes hit in 2004.
