the State Championship. This is the only time that the ISAT has recognized anyone in
this manner. |

Was told on the first day of mechanic training that “only four
people have ever attended the school who correctly answered 100% of the F.A.A.
mechanics, written exam.” Became
the 5th person to ace the F.A.A. written exam and was on the Deans
honor roll for every semester of college. |

Went to college during weekdays from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
then at Brookhaven Country Club (maintaining trees) until late afternoon.
Went to Pilot Ground School at night (two nights a week) and flew on the
weekends (plus side tree work). Passed
the F.A.A.’s written pilot exam and only lacked 3-hours of night time flying
to receive a pilots license when medical condition arose that prevented the
granting of a license.
