Ms. Sarah Sours joined Arborilogical Services in 2002 as a Certified Consulting Arborist and Degreed Forester. While attending Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry Management in 1998, Ms. Sours worked as an intern for the Alabama Forestry Commission collecting data for the United States Department of Agriculture’s Forest Health Monitoring Program.

After graduating, she moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and became a Project Manager for a local non-profit organization managing their local tree farm and educating adults and children on the importance of trees, as well as how to care for them.

Since 2002, Ms. Sours has not only worked for Arborilogical Services educating her clients, but she has also taken time to volunteer in an effort to educate the public. Over the years, through groups such as the Dallas and Fort Worth Area Master Gardener Associations, Ms. Sours has taught classes on sustainable tree planting, proper tree care management, how to identify local tree diseases and insects, the many benefits of trees, and more.

Ms. Sours' volunteer efforts have involved her in both local and statewide organizations, supporting arboricultural projects such as the Trinity Blacklands Urban Forestry Council, the Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council, and Texas Tree Trails.
