April 26 to 28 - EXPO Earthx2019

Join us at EXPO Earthx2019, the world’s largest environment experience! Earthx2019 will be held Friday through Sunday, April 26 to 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fair Park in Dallas.

May 16 to 18 - Texas Tree Climbing Championship

Who will represent Texas at the International Tree Climbing Competition in Knoxville this August?

This year the Texas Tree Climbing Championship (TTCC) will be held in San Gabriel Park, 445 E Morrow Street, Georgetown, Texas 78686. The competition aims to simulate working conditions of arborists in the field. Male and female competitors perform five different events during preliminary rounds. Each event tests a competitor’s ability to professionally, and safely maneuver in a tree while performing work-related tree-care tasks in a timely manner. Arborilogical Services tree climber Mr. Miguel Pastenes has won the TTCC title an unprecedented nine-times!

The winners of our Texas competition qualify to represent the Texas Chapter at the International Tree Climbing Championship in Knoxville, Tennessee this August 9 to 11, 2019.

November 11 to 13 - Certified Arborist Test Preparation Course

The Certified Arborist Test Preparation Course* is scheduled Monday through Wednesday, November 11 to 13, and will be held in Fort Worth. This three-day course is designed to teach arboriculture knowledge and prepare you to take the ISA Certified Arborist Exam.

More details will be available soon. 24 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for those currently certified, and would like to take the course as a refresher.

*ISA requires a combination of education and experience to take the exam, (registration for the exam is not included with this course). Please contact ISA for exam requirements and exam registration.
