Thomas Strawn joined Arborilogical Services, Inc. in 2021. A Dallas native, Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University–Texarkana, where his passion for environmental science and natural systems was strengthened.
Following graduation, Mr. Strawn pursued a career in secondary education, teaching Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Biology at the high school level while completing a Master of Arts in Science Education. His years in the classroom reinforced his dedication to fostering curiosity about the natural world and environmental stewardship.
Seeking a more hands-on role in environmental care, Mr. Strawn later earned a Master of Science in Environmental Geoscience from Mississippi State University and transitioned into the field of arboriculture. As an arborist, he combines his scientific background, teaching experience, and deep appreciation for nature to provide expert tree care and consultation throughout North Texas.
Mr. Strawn is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, holding both the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) and the Texas Oak Wilt Qualification.
Outside of his professional work, he and his wife share a love of the outdoors—spending much of their free time hiking, exploring nature with their two daughters, and training together in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, in which they both actively compete in regional events.
